The Heros Tour has officially popped on the national radar. After what was probably a well intentioned move by the Forest Lake principal to head off a controversy, the news that combat vets are not fit to talk to school kids is producing a media surge. The phones have been ringing off the hook on the Heros Tour bus with requests for interviews and comment on todays situation. Look for Pete Hegseth to be the busiest man in America the next few days. From now to the end of the tour, the national media will be following the progress and I dare say we wont see any other such cancellations. A reminder that you can meet all of the national and local heros tonight at the Fort Snelling Officer Club starting at 6pm. Go to the VFF website for directions and details. And by the way, the Strib pollnow has 13,600 respondents, with 94% in favor of vets in schools, 5% opposed. |
