Today I'm busy preparing for the Vets For Freedom event on Sunday night at the Minnesota History Museum: An "American-Iraq Friends in Freedom" - A music and video tribute to our soldiers, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Sunday, November 23.
Vets For Freedom is now 35,000 strong nationally, and over 350 strong in Minnesota. Our mission is that our soldiers be allowed to win the wars they are fighting so they can come home in victory! Victory means that the Iraqi and Afghani people have security, stability, and self determination.
We will be having a great "silent auction" with items from the Minnesota Twins, Vikings and Wild to raise money for Vets For Freedom. So please join us and let's salute our troops! (Cross-posted at The Eagle's Nest Blog)
