The tactics of Li'l Infidel's band of thieves have continued. Last night, a couple with Citizens For Responsible Spending (CRS834 )and Jim Kremer for School Board signs had their signs destroyed.

The vandal(s) used what appears to be a large hammer to smash their signs off thick wires attaching them to a tree in their yard. (imagine damaging a tree!) The signs were then slashed to bits with what had to be a very sharp knife. The responding police officer didn't want to file a report, because, he said, they wouldn't be able to catch the guy anyway. (Going forward no crime reports will be made no matter what the crime unless there is a reasonable chance of catching the perpetrators? Huh? Must be a new union rule)

When the property owners insisted on filing a report because the criminals brought the dangerous weapons onto their property to destroy the signs, the police officer told them the signs were in the "variance area" so not technically on their property. (So if your persoanl property is destroyed make sure to drag it into your yard, kind of like if you cap an intruder in your fron doorway make sure he falls into your house). Though he did acknowledge the destruction had to have been performed with a large hammer and a very sharp knife.

Two people involved with CRS834 have also realized they have something else in common. Two vehicles at two different Stillwater residences were vandalized last Thursday night, Oct. 25th. That was the same night the signs started disappearing and nasty notes signed by "The Class of 2008" were left behind. The vandalism was in the form of spikes put into the tires of the vehicles - nails with the heads cut off pushed through the sidewalls of the tires.

Another disturbing incident occurred back on Tuesday, Sept. 11 - Primary Election Day. Original CRS834 members had a bomb in their mailbox. While the Washington County Sheriff's office is investigating and the media has been informed of the crime, no media source other than Wright County Republican blog as felt compelled to report on it. But then again what's the big deal about a bomb?

A very sinister group has taken it upon itself to harass and intimidate voters and citizens in the Stillwater area. This is the stroy that no one is getting from teh media. Civil Rights are being violated. Crimes are being committed. It's not being publicized because of the alliance between pro-levy folks and the media.

People should be informed and be ever watchful of anything suspicious. If people see anything, it should be reported to the police (651-351-4900) or to the Washington County Sheriff's office (651-439-9381). And please insist on getting a case number, because in many cases, the police are not filing official reports.
