Of course, the truth is the Taxpayers League of Minnesota never has left us, in fact, they are celebrating their 10th anniversary. Huzzah! Can you believe it's been that long? Congratulations to Mike Wigley, David Strom and all the folks who have kept it going strong over the decade.

I say they're back because they launched their new website last night. And people who have been checking in at their site have seen it down for the last 2 months while the sausage was being made. Go check it out. You'll find a new cleaner look, frequent updates from Mark Giga and Phil Krinkie, and the same sort of grassroots calls to action you've known them for over the years.

Now you probably have heard of the shakeup which David Strom makes clear on his intros to the David Strom Show on AM1280 each Saturday am (And of course, 1280 The Patriot has jumped in with TownHall and launched a great looking new site as well). It is no longer TLM Live as it was. David now heads the Minnesota Free Market Institute, and if you did not know it, he is joined at MFMI by the prolific Craig Westover who many of us have missed from the blogosphere since March.

So what is MFMI? A MN based free market think tank, in the same vein as CATO, NTU, etc. As they explain:

It has been a big year for home improvement, and it makes sense since as it is a non-election year.
