I know that Lassie posted on this last week but my friend Forrest is asking for another push. There are many battles to fight but here is another one we can't forget. Rarely will you meet a man who works so hard for liberty and freedom.

It has come to my attention that the riverboat Delta Queen may be forced to stop underway operations due to some minor regulatory hang-ups. I think this would be a travesty.
The Delta Queen has become a historic fixture on the Mississippi River over the last eighty years she has been paddling up the river to Winona, Wabasha, Saint Paul and other Minnesota River towns.
There is now an outlet for people in Minnesota who feel as I do. Minnesotans for the Delta Queen is a not-for-profit established in November 2007 and can be accessed at www.MN4DQ.org.
I ask for you and your friends help. I have started a petition drive that can be signed at www.MN4DQ.org. But we need more than that. We need to get the word out so other Minnesotans know that the Delta Queen is now sailing into shallow waters and may be grounded. Forever!

Yes, we need money, but we also need people who are willing to join an organization determined to preserve the Delta Queen as a traveling piece of Americana.
