Thursday November 5, 2009 - Noon to 1 PM - South Steps of the MN State Capitol
On Thursday, November 5th, voters from across the nation will be rallying in Washington DC and at local Congressional offices to oppose the health care 'reform' bill that is expected to come-up for a vote on Friday.
We are encouraging young people across Minnesota to join in the opposition to the bill by attending a rally on the south steps of the state capitol at noon on Thursday. Even though you may be too young to vote, you can still have your voice heard by attending Thursday's rally. Bring a sign and join in the call to stop the government takeover of our health care system.
Health care reform will have significant implications for young people. Everyone will be forced to purchase health care insurance or pay a hefty fine. The medical treatments that will be available to you will be determined by the government. And young people will get stuck with paying for another entitlement program that will add billions of dollars to our national debt.
If you care about America's future freedom and prosperity, we urge you to attend this event.
