Remember how Dick Day said he didn’t want to have his fate left in the hands of a 100 people when he dropped out of the 1st District endorsement race? Well, is seems that only about 100 people cared enough to donate to his campaign. (give or take)
St. Paul, Minn. — In a filing with the Federal Election Commission Tuesday, Day reported raising less than $11,000 in the second quarter of the year.
The man he is running against in the Republican Primary is Brian Davis. Davis is exactly what Congress needs, and his fundraising is the perfect example that people in Minnesota’s 1st District agree. Davis has raised $390,000 in the latest quarter, which is just $40,000 less than incumbent DFLer Tim Walz.
