Covering a convention is a strange feeling.  I walked past Tony Blankley and watched MSNBC on the plaza this afternoon.  We saw George Stephonopolous at Walgreen's.  Yet, I have never felt more disconnected at times.  You are running from place to place covering news, taking pictures, and writing down notes for later.

One note I do want to mention:

I have been amazed at how the media and lefty blogs have adopted the tactic of NOT talking about a subject.  I am watching PBS right now and the groups have spent about 4 minutes so far Not Talking About Sarah Palin's Daughter.

In addition, mainstream media is NOT publishing front page articles, pictures, or blog posts on the subject of Palin's daughter because that would just be distasteful.  Instead we are publishing articles and editorials about how we are not doing that; as we tactfully do just that.
