MN Senate Race Swing PDF Print E-mail

The news yesterday of Al Franken's drop or Norm Coleman's rise, however you want to think of it, seems substantial. And the substance is 10 points according to the latest KSTP poll of 644 registered voters.

Skeptics may want to say, that's a small polling pool. Realists could then remind them to look at Franken's large negatives of abrasive personality, total inexperience and glaringly short-term in-state presence.

Add to that Franken will now have to take on the much more liberal Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer who this late in the game will be no fun to tangle with. Franken, I am sure would at this point not want to step into the stickiness of far-left tar that becomes very hard to wash off come the fall.
