This may be one of the stranger fallouts of the Larry Craig incident: the American Land Rights Association (ALRA) is calling for a boycott of the Minneapolis Saint-Paul International Airport and Northwest Airlines. (Click the link to find why they nab the airline. It's .... a stretch.) Craig may have done yeoman's work in defense of property rights over the years, but he's jumped the shark. There is no "alleged" here. He pled guilty (am I wrong on that?). The senator is no naif here, so that should be the end of the story. Disgraced, resign. Enjoy your well-paid retirement, senator. The ALRA, meanwhile, would do well to stick to its knitting rather than defend one of their own. |
