BREAKING: Pawlenty won't be in Dayton today, says "was honored to be considered"

Gov. Tim Pawlenty said this morning that he will he not be in Dayton, Ohio, today and strongly suggested that he won't be John McCain's running mate.

"I will not be in Dayton, Ohio, so I think that's a fair assumption," he added in an interview with the Twin Cities radio station, when asked if this was an indication that he would not be chosen.

He added: "It was an honor to be considered."

Is it Mitt? At Drudge: "Romney headed to Dayton.. Developing..."

7:40a: Drudge reports No Romney.  Ed at Hot Air:  "Meanwhile, several e-mailers pointed to a flight plan for a private jet from Alaska to Ohio last night.  Was Sarah Palin on her way to appear with McCain?"

8:13a: Drudge reports Palin in Alaska, and is showing a picture of McCain with Lieberman. Yikes.

9:43a: The Lieberman photo is replaced with Palin at Drudge.

9:45a: Lady Logician reports above that Sarah Palin is the pick. YES!
