Michael at MDE caught a big fish on tape (turns out she is the wife of Madia's communications director and spokesman) taking Paulsen signs last night, and it made Fox 9 news:

Returning home from the MPR debate party Friday night, my friend Beth and I witnessed kids on skateboards whizzing down a cross-street with my neighbor's McCain signs. A getaway car drove by, occupants giving us the finger. We called the police, but it was too dark to get a good description.

Around midnight, kids returned and pulled up every sign on my street.  I heard them running and got in my car to look for the getaway car. A few blocks away, I found a car full of kids driving around corners and going nowhere in particular. I called in the plates, and hopefully helped catch some thieves.

Too bad I didn't have my camera. 

Was Obama's debate performance so poor that kids felt a need to rip off McCain signs? No Obama signs were taken.

Stolen sign count on my street: 2 large and 8 small McCain, 1 Coleman and 3 Prest. They'll be replaced, and will be treated with pepper spray.
