Videos: Liberals Losing It - Update: Horowitz piles on Olby
We're just beginning to see liberal anger over the Scott Brown win in Massachusetts last night. Here are two videos forwarded to me: one is real with Keith Olbermann calling Scott Brown every name he can think of on the eve of the election, and the other doctored (but spot on) after Brown's election win:
I watched MSNBC last night for the sheer enjoyment of witnessing Olbermann, Maddow and Matthews trying to keep control as Brown sailed quickly to victory. Olbermann later "apologized" for the remarks in the video above, then added "sexist" to the list of names he called Brown. On Twitter, Steve Gill notes,
@SteveGillShow: More people voted for Scott Brown in Mass. (1.2 million) than watch Keith Olbermann on MSNBC NATIONWIDE (900,000)!!
UPDATE: David Horowitz has the full Olby over at NewsReal, and crushes him on calling Brown "horrifically unqualified" for the position:
Okay, just because Junior High students learn in 8th grade physical science that it is impossible to prove a negative, doesn’t mean we should hold Keith to the same standard—and besides, one should never take TOO seriously the statements of the grieving…But just for a moment, let’s take a look at a Senator whom Keith Olbermann does NOT consider “horribly unqualified.”
Brown has been in Massachusetts State Government since 1998, when he was elected State Representative. He was elected State Senator almost 6 years ago in 2004.
That’s a lot less “horribly unqualified” than our next candidate who started running for President when he only had about 2 ½ years experience as a State Senator (since he started his Presidential campaign 5 minutes after his U.S. Senate election).
