Thirty plus years in the hospitality industry taught me a lot about people in general and state and local taxes and politics in particular. Sheer frustration drove me into politics after years of dealing with the city of Minneapolis' Democrat political agenda and government schools.
I ran for governor in 2006 and lost. Some believe I should have started my political career a little lower on the food chain but I believed Minnesota needed me badly right then. In fact I believe the citizens of MN still need me as no one would have looked out for the taxpayers better than me. In spite of being trounced I hold my head high for being able to stand up and challenge the status quo. The best part of the experience was the people I met and friendships I have formed across the great state of Minnesota.
My greatest accomplishments in life have been raising my three fantastic children and running a successful business in the city of Minneapolis for over 30 years. City officials in Minneapolis don't make it easy. Now retired from the hospitality industry I plan to continue my battles as I fight for life, liberty and property.
