ICYMI: Gov. Dayton Blames Pawlenty, MnDOT refutes
Via Senator Sean Nienow on Facebook:
Gov Dayton tried to blame (former) Gov Pawlenty for the inability of MNDOT to clear the roads the last couple days. Due to Pawlenty Budget Cuts. One Problem.... MNDOT says money had nothing to do with it! Doh!
Nienow adds in the comment section:
...if there were or weren't cutbacks is thoroughly and completely irrelevant to the current snow/road conditions. MNDOT made it absolutely clear, that the problem getting the roads conditions back to normal was not related to staffing or money (it was 100% storm/weather related). Dayton was either very ill-informed, or playing the blame game. The whole video is on the news website. Go look at it if you want. This clip is not out of context, it's just the most enlightening section of a 2 1/2 minute segment.
