Feb 08 ObamaCare Violating Religious Freedom

And so the evidence of how ObamaCare is violating individual freedom and liberty continues.  The rules and requirements of the new healthcare law continue to be rolled out and the latest is a finalized rule that requires nearly all employers to include free birth control, including the controversial morning after pill, in their health insurance plans.

 
This means that religiously affiliated organizations that have strong moral concerns about contraception and abortion, like Catholic colleges and hospitals, as well as Lutheran philanthropic organizations, will be forced to pay for coverage of these products.
 
This is a violation of the first amendment right to freedom of religion and an obvious infringement of American values.  Unfortunately, this is the essence of government-run healthcare.
 
I recently joined 153 of my colleagues in sending a letter to the President demanding this outrageous rule be redrafted to provide an exemption for those organizations who are morally opposed.
